Four-thousanders

How many Alpine peaks have a height over 4000 m? Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme (UIAA) identified a list of 82 'official' Alpine four-thousander. The list contains many peaks of low prominence. Based on data from Peaklist prepared a list of the 50 peaks, whose excellence is more than 100 m. Wherever possible, the peaks are marked with maximum accuracy. Please select a satellite map by clicking on closer up and see a satellite picture of the selected peak.
